Avocado Lime Ranch

This avocado lime ranch dressing is a delicious dressing or dip that's perfect for salads, crudite, and wings. It's got a southwest kick to it with ground spices, has a smooth and rich mouthfeel from the avocado, mayo, and sour cream, and has just the right amount of punchiness from the lime.

Ingredients 

  • 2 medium avocados, pitted and removed from the skin
  • 2 limes, juiced, ¼ cup fresh lime juice
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup mayo
  • 1 cup basil leaves, packed
  • 1 cup cilantro, stems and leaves, packed
  • 2 stalks green onions, cut into 2" pieces
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 6 twists ground black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika

Instructions 

  • Starting with the avocado, add all the ingredients into a food processor. Blend until smooth, about 30 seconds.
  • Transfer the avocado lime ranch dressing to a container. Serve immediately.

Notes

This dressing is best served the same day it’s made.
